Sitch: As a kid, books were the only gift I was allowed to give friends. Can you imagine how lame my square looked next to the coolest, newest video game/barbie/gameboy/fashion trend?
Funny how this happens, isn’t it? Now, I rely on that standard for so many occasions.
Solution: Too Much Happiness by Alice Munro and Raymond Carver: A Writer’s Life by Carol Sklenicka are welcome and will definitely arrive under some of your trees this year.

Sitch: Brutal work weeks make yoga heavy weekends luxurious. But I’m always schlepping to and from the yoga studio in gross old tees and sweats. It’s time for an upgrade.
Solution: Lululemon, Nike Yoga, and adidas by Stella McCartney.
they would go nicely with this letter bag

Solution: Give pretty things to pretty people. 20X200 wins again!

Sitch: Downing seltzer to stay alive. Polluting the earth plastic bottle after plastic bottle. Do you know how much is costs to deliver those suckers?
Solution: Homemade seltzer by SodaClub.
Sitch: In need of a coat that won’t make you pass out from over-heating on the subway?
Solution: Puffers, while unflattering, are practical and this shorter version with a belt is a step in the flattering direction.

Sitch: How can I make my blow-out last longer?
Solution: Use a shower cap. It sure looks granny-like but it’s the next best thing to living with your hairdresser.

Wishlist Part 1
Every year, I anxiously await the first time someone asks me “What do you want for Christmas, send me your list!” This year it came early, but never too soon.
P.S. this year’s wrapping color will be Aubergine - a humble nod to the racks of purple hues running through the stores along fifth avenue this fall. Now, on to the list.
Pilates classes
Fully committed to the practice, Indigo Studio has changed the way I feel about exercise.
Bath towels
Restoration Hardware makes the best ones. White, please.
Chef’s knife
Second year in a row asking…just sayin’
More to come, I promise.
